Dr. Sahar earned her Master of Science in global medicine while attending dental school. Dentistry was a field of endless learning for her. While getting trained at the University of Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry, she had the privilege of immersing herself in a dynamic learning environment where she gained invaluable hands-on experience and honed her skills under the guidance of dedicated faculty members. Beyond the classroom, she forged deep connections with mentors who have provided invaluable guidance and support, laying the foundation for her future in dentistry. 

Dr. Sahar ‘s motivation to pursue dentistry comes from a modest social and family background. She grew up in a traditional community in Shiraz, Iran that considered homemaking or, at most, a few years of college to be ideal for young women. Her family, however, was more modern in outlook and supported her ambition to attend a university in the United States toward her dream of becoming a dentist.

During Dr. Sahar’s free time, she likes to spend quality time with friends over good food. She says that conversation is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Exploring different restaurants and trying a variety of cuisines is a passion of hers. There’s always something new and exciting to discover, and it’s a wonderful way to expand her culinary horizons.
